After 13 years, Phil Kieran returns under his Le Carousel alias with the follow-up album. The Humans Will Destroy Us is released on 13 March 2026 (Release party 14th March!!) . It blends shoegaze-inspired electronics, lush analogue textures and dreamy synthscapes into a rich, epic journey along a winding dancefloor, timelessly connecting the club with the cosmos. There’s an intentional cinematic progression throughout the album.

The Dublin Film Festival has just announced its programme, No Ordinary Heist screens on 22 February, followed by Crazy Love on 26 February. Phil will also be on a panel (25th Feb) to discuss every aspect of what it takes to write music for the big screen and the important role music plays in filmmaking.

I’ve finally managed to book this guy — The Hacker (aka Michel Amato) — a hugely important figure in electronic music. He helped define the so-called electroclash movement alongside Miss Kittin, and he’s remained consistent and prolific ever since.
